Meet Linguine!
Linguine's story didn't begin the way any puppy's should. At just five weeks old, she and her siblings were abandoned in a cardboard box in the middle of nowhere, absolutely riddled with fleas and dehydrated. A good samaritan found them and brought them to a clinic who rang us for help.
Fortunately, that awful day is now a distant memory! Thanks to lots of 'TLC' from OTC and the incredible dedication of her foster carer, Linguine has grown into a happy, confident little girl with a real zest for life. She has a great personality and her foster says she loves to play, wrestle and sleep in very 'unique' positions...
Linguine is affectionate and sweet, but she's also outgoing, playful and has a cheeky streak that's guaranteed to keep her future family on their toes! She's the sort of pup who likes to be involved in whatever is happening and isn't afraid to show off a little personality along the way. She's been growing up in a busy foster household, with different people and routines throughout the day, giving her a wonderful introduction to the hustle and bustle of the everyday family's life. Her foster carer has worked incredibly hard to give her the best possible foundations, and we're looking for a family who will continue that great work.
Linguine has medium to high energy levels and will be happiest with an active, involved family who can offer plenty of exercise, enrichment, playtime and adventures. She'll need ongoing training, guidance and consistency as she matures, along with a comfortable place to sleep inside at night. Linguine is ready to make up for lost time with an adopter who can make up for the cruelty she endured as a tiny pup with a lifetime of love, laughter and adventures!
Could Linguine be the missing piece of your family? If so, get your application in and let's see if you're a match!

Adoption details
Before applying, you should have the following already confirmed:
1. Real estate approval (if renting)
2. A rates notice as proof of home ownership (if owner)
3. Secure, suitable fencing and outdoor shelter
4. Ability to meet the pet’s dietary needs (breed size, age, medical requirements)

To apply, you must complete the OTC Adoption Application. This form is an expression of interest only and is not a contract. The application takes approximately 15 minutes to complete. Some applicants may take more or less time. This timeframe gives an indication of the level of detail required at the initial screening stage.
We do not approve meet-and-greets without a completed and approved application. Applications must be completed in full; incomplete applications will not be followed up. Required photos of yard and fencing must be provided within 48 hours or the application will not proceed. Photos may be sent via our Facebook page or emailed to offthechaink9rescue@outlook.com.
Due to the volume of behind-the-scenes work, we are not always able to contact applicants whose application is not a suitable match for the pet they have applied for, however we do endeavour to do so where possible. You are welcome to request an update or outcome at any time via email or our facebook page inbox and we will respond as soon as we can.

Transport Information
1. Transport is considered only after an adoption application has been submitted. Please apply before sourcing transport to avoid unnecessary arrangements and delays if you are not approved.
2. Submit an adoption application as outlined above.
3. Obtain transport quotes and select your preferred provider. We recommend Aeropets, Jetpets, Dogtainers, or Pet Waggin for road transport.
4. Advise us via email or Facebook message that you have applied and are beginning the transport sourcing process. This is a good time to advise any additional details, such as holding periods or limited departure days.
5. If your adoption application and transport plans are proceeding, we will coordinate departure, fit-to-fly/road requirements, food delivery, and any other necessary elements with you.
6. Adoption contracts, adoption fees, and photo ID must be submitted before the animal is released to transport.
7. Transport approval is subject to the individual animal’s suitability for travel and the standard of care provided by the selected transport company. Not all animals will be approved for transport. If an animal is not suitable to travel, this will be clearly stated on their adoption profile.
