About Patricia
Patricia is a sweet little girl who could really do with some help in gaining confidence. She wants to be around people and after a slow introduction and warm up she’s ready for cuddles. She was surrendered to us for having some issues with other dogs in her household that were more about the other dogs than her, although she has learned that she needs to be assertive to get her share of the attention. Having said that she could well share her house with another dog but we would suggest some management protocols to set both up for success.
Patricia seems to be fine with cats but hasn’t had much leash work and we are walking her on a harness while working on that. She would enjoy a quieter household where she can have lots of attention without a busy environment.
As she is only young she will need a home that will be able to provide for her needs for the next 15+ years, please consider this when submitting an adoption enquiry. We require that you come and meet her prior to adoption.

HappyPaws Haven is fussy about who adopts these animals and where they are housed and cared for. The adoption criteria is documented and strictly adhered to. We do not adopt animals to people who rent unless they are long term rental at the same address and have landlords written permission.
We ask if they have thought about the attributes they want in a dog, lifestyle, childrens ages, prepared to train, etc. We also talk about responsible pet ownership, fully fenced yards, hours unattended etc.
