About Bluey - 9 Week Old Cattle Dog X
💙 Meet Bluey – Your New Best Friend! 🐾
Bluey is a beautiful 9-week-old female Cattle Dog x Staffy puppy who is ready to find her forever family! This sweet girl has been raised in a home environment and is already showing just how lovely a little companion she can be.
Bluey has been living with one of her siblings and a couple of cats, and she gets along well with everyone. She has also met lots of people, including children, and is friendly and affectionate with them. She loves spending time outdoors and would be happiest in a home with a lard secure yard/secure property where she can play, explore and enjoy outside safely or someone who will give her plenty of exercise.
Bluey is expected to grow into a medium sized dog. Like all puppies, she will need plenty of love, patience, socialisation and ongoing training as she grows. We recommend puppy training classes to help her develop into a confident, well-mannered adult dog and give her the best possible start in life.
Bluey will need a family who welcomes her inside when they are home and allows her to sleep indoors, at least until she is fully grown. She would make a wonderful family companion and is suitable for children, including young children 5+, with appropriate supervision. She would also be suited to a home with another dog or a cat, provided introductions are managed carefully. Bluey may also be suitable for a full-time working household, provided her needs for companionship, toilet breaks, exercise and enrichment are met. So more of a work from home individual or someone who can come home throughout the day. Bluey can not be left alone for long period of times due to her age.
Her new home will need secure fencing with no small gaps or escape points. Unfortunately, rural-style fencing, such as mesh or wire fencing, is not suitable.
Bluey's sibling, Bingo, is also available for adoption.
Bluey's adoption fee is $800, which includes her desexing when she is old enough, as well as her first vaccination. She has been treated for fleas and worms and is microchipped.
Bluey is in foster care in Raymond Terrace, NSW. As she is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption within the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock), the Central Coast and Sydney. She will need to be returned to a DRN-approved vet for desexing when she is approximately 5–6 months old. Unfortunately, interstate applications cannot be accepted.
