About Missy
Missy | Female (Townsville/Cairns adoption only)
Hi everyone, my name is Missy! I’m a gorgeous 2.5-year-old female Chihuahua with a heart full of love and a personality that’s a little bit sweet, a little bit cheeky, and a whole lot of Chihuahua! Let me tell you a little about myself… Loyal, kind & gentle – Once I feel safe with you, I’ll be your devoted little companion. I have so much love to give to the special family who gives me a chance. Cheeky, playful & spirited – Don’t let my tiny size fool you! I’ve got plenty of personality, a playful side and just enough sass to keep you smiling. I can be a little demanding when I know what I want… and sometimes, a girl just needs what a girl needs! Better together! – I’d love a home with another small, gentle and friendly dog who could show me the ropes, help me settle in and keep me company. I enjoy having a little friend to follow around and play with. Having another kind soul beside me would help me feel much more confident. Or how about staying with my totally RAD Mum, Lola?! Yep, my beautiful Mum Lola is also looking for her forever home! We would happily spend our days together if a family had room in their hearts for both of us. After all, she’s my Mum! Who better to have by my side while I navigate this big, scary world? A little patience will mean the world to me. All these changes have scared the living poop out of me! I’m trying to make sense of everything, and while I’m ready to meet my new family, I might need a little extra time, reassurance and understanding as I settle into my new life. Please be patient with me. I may not feel brave straight away, but with kindness, consistency and a safe place to call home, I hope to blossom into the confident, happy little girl I know I can be. The good news? I’m fit as a fiddle, healthy, beautifully groomed and ready to find my people! All I need now is a family willing to open their hearts, give me time to adjust and show me that the best days of my life are still ahead. Could that be you? I can’t wait to sniff you… and hopefully steal your heart while I’m at it! Lots of love and tiny Chihuahua kisses, Missy Small paws, big feelings and a heart waiting for home.
🐾 A Few Important Things to Know
• Interstate adoption is available at the adopter's expense. Please contact us for a transport quote. Puppies under 12 weeks of age are unable to fly and will remain in foster care until they have completed their veterinary work and are old enough to travel.
• Breed and adult size: As a rescue organisation, we cannot always guarantee a dog's breed mix or their expected adult size.
• Medical conditions: Any known medical conditions or ongoing care requirements will always be clearly outlined in the dog's adoption profile.
• Veterinary care: All puppies and dogs are adopted with proof of their completed veterinary work.
• Making an enquiry: When submitting an enquiry, please include a little information about yourself, your location, and your contact details. This allows us to pass your enquiry on to the foster carer, who will contact you if they believe the dog may be a suitable match.
• If you are renting: Please include a copy of your current lease agreement or written approval from your landlord confirming that pets are permitted at the property. This will assist us in processing your application.
