Meet Bruno, the cutest little Maltese boy weighing just 4.5kg, who came into our care after his owner was no longer able to care for him.

Bruno is quite possibly one of the sweetest little boys you could ever meet. 🥹❤️

He is a very calm, placid and docile little soul who simply loves affection and being close to his humans. Bruno is also incredibly quiet and doesn’t bark at all. He isn’t bothered by other dogs, but he is equally happy enjoying his own company. He really is such an easygoing little gentleman.

Bruno loves his meals and always looks forward to mealtimes. 🥰

Sadly, Bruno came into our care with some health concerns. He has a head tilt to one side and a curved spine, although he does not appear to be in pain. X-rays have been taken, and he also has a few other medical issues. Please contact us directly if you would like more information about Bruno’s health.

We want Bruno to enjoy his days surrounded by love, comfort and kindness for as long as he continues to have a good quality of life. We understand that adopting a dog with health concerns is a special commitment, and we are looking for someone who understands this and is prepared to put Bruno’s needs first.

Bruno may be tiny in size, but his heart is enormous. He has so much love to give, and we hope there is someone out there who will open their heart and home to this beautiful little boy. ❤️

He deserves to know what it feels like to be truly cherished, to have a warm and loving home, and to receive all the cuddles his little heart desires.

4. Do you currently have any other animals living with you?
If so, please provide details about each animal, including their species, age, breed and personality, and how they generally interact with other animals.

5. Do you have previous experience with Bruno’s breed? If not, have you done thorough research into the breed, including its temperament, exercise needs, grooming, training and potential health requirements?

6. Are you familiar with the long-term responsibilities of dog ownership, including training, socialisation, exercise and ongoing care? Are you willing to give Brandy the time, patience and support he needs to settle into her new home?

7. How many hours will Bruno be left alone on a typical day? Who will be responsible for caring for him during your working hours, absences, holidays or other periods when you are unable to be with him?

8. Are you financially and practically prepared to provide Bruno with quality veterinary care, preventative healthcare, grooming and nutritious food throughout his lifetime?

9. Will Bruno be considered a member of your family and primarily live indoors, with appropriate access to a secure backyard/outdoor area? Please describe where Bruno will sleep and how he will be accommodated overnight.

10. If your circumstances change in the future and you are no longer able to care for Bruno, do you agree to contact PFPRI and seek our assistance before making any arrangements to surrender, re-home him?
