Hi, I'm Cristobal, though no one calls me that — I much prefer Cristo!

Nature
I can be a nervous guy at first and may hide a lot, but be patient, calm and kind to me, and my sweet side will come out.

I love sleeping on the lap of my favourite person, making biscuits and giving lots of head bumps.

As I follow you around the house, I'll race you to be first into every room, greet you at the door when you come home every day, and I'd also love to sleep on your bed at night.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I've been around younger kids but can find them overwhelming, especially if they don't understand when I want to be left alone, so I think a mature home would suit me best.

As for other cats and dogs? No, thank you! I prefer to be the only animal around.

Likes / Dislikes
✅ Lots of head scratches.
✅ Food, especially creamy tube treats.
✅ Sleeping on your bed. I've also grown accustomed to furry blankets.

🚫 I get a bit scared and nervous around too many visitors and like to hide.
🚫 Too many back scratches. Please stick to my head and face.

My PURR-fect home would be best in a mature home with humans who respect and appreciate my space but also give me plenty of love, as I do enjoy the company of my favourite humans. Loud noises and chaotic environments stress me out. When things are chill, so am I.

Medical Notes: Cristobal is currently prescribed clomipramine and pregabalin to help manage his anxiety around living with other pets and children. Once he has settled into a calm, low-stress environment, it may be possible to gradually reduce and eventually discontinue his medication under veterinary guidance.
