About Isla
🐾💔 Hi, I’m Isla… and I’m still learning that the world can be kind. 💔🐾
My first three years weren’t very kind to me.
When I came into care, I was scared, shut down and very, very thin. My fur was very matted, and it hurt to move. My little body needed lots of help. I was suffering from infected ears and needed many of my teeth removed.
I’ve been through a lot, and although I’m slowly finding my feet, I still need someone who understands that trust takes time. ❤️
I’m not asking for the world. Just a safe place, a gentle heart and someone who will let me blossom at my own pace.
🐾 A little about me:
🐱 I’m okay with other cats and dogs, with slow introductions.
🍽️ I absolutely LOVE my food!
🧶 Laser toys, teaser wands and balls make me happy.
🌞 I dream of a safe outdoor catio where I can feel the sunshine on my fur.
🩷 A comfy cat tower would be the perfect place to watch the world go by.
I need someone who understands my breed and is happy to groom me every day. Most importantly, I need someone patient enough to let me decide when I’m ready for the next step.
Please don’t expect me to trust you overnight. I might need time to feel safe, to learn your routines and to believe that your hands are there to love me, not hurt me.
But please don’t give up on me before you’ve given me a chance. 🥺
Somewhere out there, I hope there’s someone who will look at me and see not the frightened girl I once was, but the girl I’m slowly becoming.
Could you be my safe place, my sunshine and my forever? 💗🐾
