About Maple
Meet Maple, a red and tan kelpie with a very sweet and affectionate nature. She always wants to be around people, often acting as your shadow. No matter where you go, Maple will follow you close by.
Maple enjoys pats from everyone she meets, quickly winning people over with her gentle and friendly personality. She gets along well with other dogs and has a lovely submissive nature, though is untested with cats.
Currently fostered on acreage, Maple happily stays within short wire fencing and has shown she learns boundaries quickly.
Since coming into care, Maple has made great progress learning how to live inside a home. She is crate trained, travels well in the car and has settled into a routine quickly. Maple walks reasonably well on lead however she would benefit from continued training.
As a young Kelpie, Maple will need an active home that can provide exercise, supervision and ongoing training. Maple would thrive in a home with another playful dog, space to run and explore, and people who want an affectionate companion by their side.

To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at https://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-process-forms/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
