About Grayson
Meet Tim The Gate Guard, but you can call him Tim.
This little bundle of cute-ness has had a rough trot in his first few months of life, but he is young, resilient and has shown even though he's tiny, he is brave and ready to learn what a home is.
Tim came to us incredibly scared. He did not seem to know what human interaction was and found it very confusing. We were determined to show him what affection and love could feel like with a slow and gentle approach. Tim started to lean in for head-butts and knead his paws when he received gentle contact showing us, he desperately was craving this interaction but was very scared at the same time.
One thing he did not have an issue with was eating. We would offer him meals and treats, and he greedily gobbled this down and started to enjoy seeing staff as we became the bearers of food. Tim seemed interested and gentle when introduced to other cats and he has seemed to warm up to people here too.
Tim now rolls over, exposing his belly for pats and gently meows. He loves his food, is interested (albeit slightly confused) with toys and we can see underneath this scared nature is a snuggly, smoochy cat.
It is important that people know, Tim will thrive in a quiet home, with structure, routine and a slow approach. Although he's just a kitten, he will require care and dedication to ensure his home feels safe to him and is a perfect fit. If you believe you can offer him this, come and meet him today!
Tim The Gate Guard is part of our Rescue or Rehome program, where we are committed to finding homes for cats and kittens who simply cannot cope in the shelter environment.
