Meet Teddy ❤️
A tiny little man with a BIG heart!
If you’re looking for a little companion who wants nothing more than to be by your side, Teddy might just be your perfect match.
At just 3.9kg, Teddy is a little man with so much love to give. His favourite place in the world is snuggled up on your lap, and if he had his way, he’d happily spend 24 hours a day there! He adores his people and is always wanting to please, so having his humans around to share his days with is really important to him.
Teddy is a lovely little companion who enjoys getting out and about too. He walks beautifully on lead and loves exploring the park or heading off for a beach stroll. He’s great with other dogs, uses a doggy door and is quite happy sleeping on the bed with his favourite humans.
Like many little dogs who love their people, Teddy can get a little jealous when another dog tries to claim his spot on a lap. He might voice his opinion with a little growl, but he’s learning that sharing the cuddles isn’t so bad after all. His new family will need to continue gently guiding him with this.
Teddy has recently had a dental procedure, which involved 11 tooth extractions. He’s had the dental care he needed and is ready to enjoy the next chapter of his life.
He’ll also need regular grooming to keep him looking and feeling his best.
What Teddy is looking for ⬇️
Teddy would suit a semi-retired or retired person or couple who are home a lot and want a devoted little companion. He’s not looking for a home where he’ll be left alone for long hours. He wants to be included in everyday life, join you on outings, enjoy his walks and, most importantly, have someone to curl up with at the end of the day.
If you’re after a little shadow who will follow you around, keep your lap warm and give you more love than his tiny body should possibly be able to hold, Teddy could be your boy.
He’s a magnificent little man, and now it’s time for him to find the people who will make him just as much a part of their world as he wants to be.

Adoption details
Thank you for your interest in adopting through our rescue.
If you are shortlisted, a member of our team will be in touch within 7–10 working days. Due to the high volume of applications we receive, we are unfortunately unable to enter into correspondence with unsuccessful applicants.
Shortlisted applicants will participate in a phone interview to help us assess the suitability of the home for the individual dog. The needs of each dog are our priority, and we will only proceed where we feel there is a strong match.
Successful applicants will have a meet and greet at a mutually convenient time with the foster carer. This will include introductions to all household members and any existing pets, as well as a property/fence check.
If all goes well, the dog may begin a 14-day trial period in the home to ensure the match is the right fit for both the dog and adopter. An adoption form will be completed and the adoption fee paid at this stage (fully refundable within the trial period if the placement is not suitable).
All relevant veterinary and adoption documentation will be provided upon successful completion of the trial period.
