About Whiskey
πΎπ MEET WHISKEY β YOUR ADORABLE NEW BEST FRIEND! ππΎ
Say hello to Whiskey, an adorable young Cocker Spaniel with a loving, excitable nature and a heart full of love! πΆπ₯°
Whiskey absolutely loves cuddles, belly rubs and being close to his people. Heβs still a young pup, full of enthusiasm and affection, so he may jump up to say hello! β€οΈ
π‘ A little bit about Whiskey:
πΎ Loving, affectionate and excitable
πΎ Loves cuddles and belly rubs
πΎ Housetrained and crate trained
πΎ Dog-social and would love a doggie friend
πΎ Has been around cats, but slow, careful introductions are essential
πΎ Still learning his lead manners and can pull on walks
π§ The right family for Whiskey
Because Whiskey can get a little overexcited and jump up, a home with children over 8 years old would be best for him.
He loves being close to his humans, but a little reminder: keep an eye on him if he has access to the bed while youβre sleeping! ππΎ
π IMPORTANT: Whiskey is allergic to bees.
His allergy must be taken seriously, and his future family needs to be aware of this and take appropriate precautions to help keep him safe.
π Whiskey is a sweet, affectionate young boy who has so much love to give. With continued training, patience and a family who understands his enthusiastic puppy nature, he has all the potential to be a wonderful lifelong companion.
Could you be the one to give this gorgeous boy the loving home he deserves? π‘πΆπ

Adoption details
We list animals for adoption on Pet Rescue as well as on our own Animals-in-Need-Brisbane website. We talk with people who contact about an animal to see what their needs and situation are. Our emphasis is on getting the right animal for the people and the right people for the animal. If everyone's needs are met things usually work out well.
If the situation sounds good we arrange a meeting. If all goes well we let people try the animal out for a couple of weeks to ensure that everyone is happy.
We keep records of all adopters, follow up to ensure all is well and undertake to take back any animal if circumstances change.
