About Bear
Bear is a very sweet boy who has spent most of his young life on a tether. He is learning to walk on lead and is thoroughly enjoying his bushwalks, outings and agility playground but his life experience is quite limited. He’s very personable and enjoys people and other dogs alike and is generally calm and laid back although he has a tendency to get overstimulated if other dogs are running around chasing balls in his space.
He’s enjoying learning and figuring out how to make treats appear and appreciates a calm manner and consistent rules so he can work out what is expected of him. It’s very satisfying to watch him explore and learn new things and widen up his world. All he needs now is a best bud to share it all with.

Adoption details
HappyPaws Haven is fussy about who adopts these animals and where they are housed and cared for. The adoption criteria is documented and strictly adhered to. We do not adopt animals to people who rent unless they are long term rental at the same address and have landlords written permission.
We ask if they have thought about the attributes they want in a dog, lifestyle, childrens ages, prepared to train, etc. We also talk about responsible pet ownership, fully fenced yards, hours unattended etc.
