About Princess *On Trial*
*princess is currently trialling her new home* sweet-natured princess is looking for a new forever home after ending up in our local pound through no fault of her own. . . Recently rescued by sarg princess has settled in well into foster care where her carer’s lovely female 10 year old maltese has taken her under her wing and is teaching her how to play before they cuddle up together for a well-deserved snooze. Princess is an affectionate, pup who is not at all yappy and “in your face” - she’s a real little lady! this bright little girl has already mastered “sit” and she’s pretty good on a lead and enjoys going for walks. Princess is using the doggy door, is very well behaved inside and you don’t hear a peep out of her once she’s in her bed in the laundry at night. Her carer is working on her housetraining and she’s getting there but may need a little help again in her new home. This sweet, gentle girl is great around adults (her carer calls her “her little shadow”!) as well as other animals especially other friendly dogs. As princess is a bit of a delicate petal we think she’d be best suited to older children as she’s definitely not a rough and tumble kind of pup, she's very girlie!
stunning princess is quite low-maintenance only needing a short walk or a run around the backyard to use up her energy. She doesn’t shed much hair though she’ll require a good brush once a week and her longer “feathers” may need a trim every once in a while especially around her feet. Secure fencing, chicken necks to chew on, toys to play with and lots of cuddles will make sweet little princess very happy indeed! princess is only small, she'll be less than 5kgs when fully grown. Princess had a pretty rough start to life diet wise so will need to be fed high quality dog food in her new home. She would be best suited to an indoor / outdoor lifestyle with either a nice friendly doggie companion or on her own but only if she won’t be left alone for long periods of time especially while she settles into her new home.
