About Dexter
Meet Dexter! Dexter is a curious and friendly cat who enjoys leaning in for pats and spending time with his people. He'll thrive in a low-traffic home where he can settle in gradually, with a predictable routine and plenty of comfortable spaces to relax and observe his surroundings. Dexter is looking for a family who understand feline communication and will allow him to explore and build confidence at his own pace. With patience, positive interactions and enrichment, Dexter is sure to make a wonderful addition to the family and may even enjoy a feline companion, given time and slow introductions! 🐾💙
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
