About Susie
*In foster care in Newtown, Sydney*
A true cuddly companion, Susie is as sweet as cats come! This darling girl loves nothing more than lounging on the couch and enjoying endless snuggles with her favourite humans. Rescued from the pound with her kittens in tow, it was soon discovered that Susie was very unwell and in respiratory distress. She's been on her road to recovery over the last 6 months. She's now stable and on medication we're happy to report she's stable and ready for her forever home! An asthma diagnosis hasn't changed her love for life or her humans, we hope you won't scroll past her either!
Susie's one goal in life is to be as close to you as possible, and she never gets tired of following you around the house and helpfully involving herself in whatever you’re doing :) She’s also wonderfully sociable, always coming out to greet visitors and letting them give her lots of pats.
She has a huge playful side too, with a penchant for random midnight zoomies to keep things interesting! And she's a massive foodie as well - she’ll never say no to a tasty treat!
Like all Maggie’s pets, Susie is microchipped, desexed, and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: I’d love a home where I can snooze in quiet, calm spots during the day but still have space to play when the urge strikes!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Overall I'd say it's on the lower side. Lazing around in a warm window and taking long naps are definitely my jam. But when it's zoomy time - watch out!
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Being so easygoing and friendly, the odds are good that I'd like kind and gentle children who treat me respectfully.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: At this stage I've got no experience with other pets. Open to trying with other cat social cats and dogs with gradual introductions.
Medical notes
Susie has feline asthma so she needs a puffer twice a day. She's also recently had a canine tooth removed - so her occasional snarly face isn't because she's grumpy, it’s just because her lip gets caught :)

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
