About Backpack
*In foster care in Marrickville, Sydney*
Backpack is an intriguing kitten who's wise beyond her years! She's very independent and already knows her own mind - preferring quiet time alone to relax, or quality one-on-one time with her special humans rather than joining the fun and games with her siblings.
This tiny tortie is ideal for someone who only wants one furry friend to be their forever companion. She's purry and sweet, and enjoys being handled - it makes her feel closer to you!
Like all Maggie’s pets, Backpack is microchipped, desexed, and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: I'm all about the cuddles and company! I don't need other pets for entertainment - as long as I've got a wonderful human or two to spend loads of time with, I'll be in heaven! And if you'll give me some cool towers and scratching posts, and throw my toys for me every now and then, that would be the cherry on top :)
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I love a snooze as much as a big play session. Though you'll sometimes find me zooming up and down the hall or batting my toys around, I'm definitely not as hectic as your average kitten!
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: An adults only home will suit me best, but children aged 8+ who have calm vibes might be OK.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I'll be honest - I'm a bit of an attention hog! I don't love sharing the limelight and I'm happiest when your lap is always available for cuddles. So although I get along with my siblings I'd ideally like to be your one-and-only furry friend :)

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
