🐾 MEET FLORENCE
Beautiful little Florence is a happy, outgoing puppy who approaches life with enthusiasm and a wonderful sense of adventure!
Her foster mum sums up her personality perfectly:
“Confident, playful and adventurous.”
Florence is one of Stella's gorgeous Wildlings Litter, born into ARK care and enjoying a wonderful start in life with her devoted mum and foster family.
Stella is a particularly lovely Kelpie mix with a gentle, affectionate nature. She came to ARK from the pound in the early stages of pregnancy and has proved to be an exceptional mother.
We don't know who Dad is, although our vet suspects Border Collie heritage. Florence is expected to mature into a medium-sized dog with the intelligence, energy and enthusiasm associated with these working breeds.
❤️ A WONDERFUL START IN LIFE
Florence has been fortunate to grow up in a loving family home with four children, where there's always something happening and plenty of opportunity for play, cuddles and gentle handling.
She's also had the benefit of growing up with Uncle Finny, the family's resident dog, and Uncle Fergus, their very accommodating cat!
This early exposure to children, dogs, cats and everyday household activities has given Florence an excellent foundation for life as a family companion.
🏡 FLORENCE'S IDEAL HOME
With her adventurous personality and working-breed heritage, Florence will thrive with people who enjoy an active lifestyle and want a dog to share it with.
She'll need regular exercise as she matures, interesting activities to keep her clever mind occupied, and patient, consistent training.
A friendly resident dog would be a lovely bonus, although Florence could also be happy as an only dog with plenty of human companionship.
Secure fencing, indoor privileges and being included in family life are important.
✂️ DEFERRED DESEXING
Florence will be adopted under ARK's Deferred Desexing Program and must be desexed by 24 May 2027.
The cost of desexing is included in her adoption fee, subject to the terms of ARK's Deferred Desexing Puppy Adoption Contract.
🚗 INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS WELCOME
We welcome interstate applications and are happy to assist with transport advice, quotations and travel arrangements.
💕 A LITTLE GIRL WITH PLACES TO GO!
Florence has had the very best beginning, surrounded by her beautiful mum, her foster family, Uncle Finny and Uncle Fergus.
Now this confident, playful little adventurer is ready to find a family who will enjoy discovering the world with her.
