🌻🍨 MEET MABEL & SUNDAE 🍨🌻

Hi, we’re Mabel and Sundae! We’re two young mums whose kitten children have recently flown the nest, and now it’s our turn to party (AKA day drink) and have fun!

Nature
We were feeling a little sad when our kitten children found their own new families, but we joined the local country club, met each other, and are now best friends! We can’t imagine life without each other.

We love taking leisurely strolls, chirping away happily and twining our tails together. Our foster mum even told us she didn’t know cats showed affection towards each other like we do, as she’d only ever seen cats twining tails in the movie The Aristocats! Of course, we just don’t think she’s quite as well-educated and refined as we are, but we guess she has other strengths (like serving our meals).

We’re both still getting used to this luxurious, kitten-free life, and it’s taking us some time to adjust to humans wanting to give us attention. We appreciate having our own space to relax, but we can be coaxed into interacting with our resident humans as long as it’s on our terms (with treats for Sundae and gentle head pats for Mabel).

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
We live with other foster cats and get along well with them.
We haven’t been tested with dogs or human children, but we could likely live with children as long as they respect our need for personal space.

Likes / Dislikes
❤️ Being able to call and chirp to each other.
❤️ Spending quality time together, especially if brunch is involved.
❤️ Having places to hide and relax away from the bustle of the world.
❤️ Sundae loves food and can be won over by humans offering her a treat (especially squeezey treats!).
❤️ Mabel is starting to enjoy gentle, calm head scratches from humans, but only on her own terms.

🙅🏻 Being cornered or trapped.
🙅🏻 Sudden movements in our direction.
🙅🏻 Sundae is still hesitant to accept being touched by humans.

Our PURR-fect home would be a calm place where we can enjoy our new kitten-free life together and continue building our confidence with humans through patient, gentle interactions. We’d love a home that understands our need for personal space and allows us to approach people in our own time. Most of all, we want to stay together, enjoying leisurely strolls, happy chirps and plenty of quality time as best friends!

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.

*Mabel and Sundae’s adoption fee includes a vet check, sterilisation, vaccination, microchip, flea and worm treatment.

Medical Notes: Mabel had cat flu, which is a respiratory infection. She was treated for this and given the all clear by the vet.

Mabel and Sundae were exposed to Ringworm, which is a common fungal infection. They did not show symptoms and were given the all clear by the vet.
