At 8 years young, Flame has taken to retirement beautifully and is enjoying all the wonderful things that come with home life.
Flame is a gentle, independent lady who likes to get to know you before showing her affectionate side. She’s not one to demand constant attention, but once you’ve earned her trust, her loving personality begins to shine through. 💗
And don’t let her calm nature fool you — this girl has a playful side!
🧸 Toys are a favourite! Especially her beloved caterpillar and, rather amusingly, the household doorstops! 😂
🐾 Walkies are wonderful! Flame loves her morning stroll and walks beautifully on lead. Once she’s had her daily adventure, she’s more than happy to spend the rest of the day snoozing.
🏡 A wonderful house guest! Flame has settled into home life exceptionally well. She sleeps peacefully through the night and is comfortable being left home alone during full-time working hours.
🍽️ Good manners! She’s well behaved around family mealtimes. Occasionally she’ll try her luck, but she responds beautifully to gentle redirection.
👧 Children? Flame has spent time with children aged 5–7 without any issues. As with all dogs, she appreciates children who understand and respect her space.
💕 The perfect balance of companionship and independence.
Flame doesn’t need constant fuss or entertainment. She’s simply happy enjoying a comfortable home, her favourite toys, a lovely walk and the company of people who understand her gentle nature.
Her foster family describes her as an absolute pleasure to have in their home, and they really cannot fault her!
At 8 years young, Flame has so much love and companionship to offer. She just needs a family willing to give her the time and space to build that special bond.

Adoption details
All BTG greyhounds are Desexed, C5 Vaccinated, Wormed & Heart Worm treated prior to adoption.
They have been fostered for a minimum of 8 weeks to allow maximum training and preparation for home life.
A post adoption trial period of 4 weeks is available to help families decide if the greyhound is the right one for them.
We also offer Foster to Adopt options for those who love the idea of teaching a greyhound in their home with the view to adopt it once it has "graduated" to Home Life status. This is a wonderful experience, to watch it blossom in your own home with your guidance and love. An ideal way to make sure this is the perfect dog for you.
