🐾 Meet Rocky!

Hi, I’m Rocky! I’m a young Kelpie with plenty of energy, a busy brain and lots of enthusiasm for life. I love being involved with my people, whether we’re heading out for an adventure, doing some training or just hanging out together. 🧡

Like many young Kelpies, I love having something to do! Walks, sniffing, enrichment, play and reward-based training are all great ways to keep me busy. I already know “sit” and I’m working on my lead manners.

I’m a friendly, social boy, but sometimes my excitement comes out. Because I’m still learning calmer greetings, I need a home with no children under 15 years.

I really enjoy having company and haven’t had much practice being by myself, so I’m looking for someone home more often than not who can gradually help me become more comfortable with alone time.

I’m house trained and would love indoor and outdoor access, where I can be part of family life while still having a yard to explore. I’ll also need secure fencing to keep my adventures safely at home. 🌿

I can be very interested in small, fast-moving animals and have previously chased birds, so I need a home with no pocket pets. I’m still learning my social skills and can get pretty excited around other dogs, so I’d be best matched with a friendly, social dog who has a similar energy level and play style and won’t be overwhelmed by my enthusiasm. We’ll need to meet first to make sure we’re a good match.

I’m an active, affectionate young guy with plenty still to learn. Give me some guidance, fun things to do and a place in the family, and I’ll be ready to take on our next adventure together! 💙
