🐾 MEET RUE
Meet beautiful little Rue, a bright and engaging puppy with a lovely personality.
Her foster mum describes her as:
“Confident, curious and affectionate.”
Rue is one of Stella's beautiful puppies, born into ARK care and raised in a loving foster home where she has enjoyed a wonderful start in life.
Her mum, Stella, is a particularly lovely Kelpie mix with a gentle, affectionate temperament. She came to us from the pound in the early stages of pregnancy and has been a wonderful mother to her puppies.
Dad remains a mystery, although our vet suspects Border Collie heritage. We expect Rue to grow into a medium-sized, intelligent and active companion.
🏡 BEAUTIFULLY SOCIALISED
Rue has been raised in a busy family home with four children, enjoying plenty of cuddles, playtime and gentle handling.
She's also grown up alongside the family's resident dog, Uncle Finny, and their cat, Uncle Fergus!
This excellent early socialisation has given Rue a wonderful foundation for family life.
💕 HER IDEAL HOME
With her Kelpie and likely Border Collie heritage, Rue will suit an active, loving household that can provide regular exercise, mental stimulation, patient training and plenty of companionship.
Her confident, curious nature suggests she'll enjoy exploring, learning new things and being involved in family activities.
A friendly resident dog would be a bonus, although she could also be happy as an only dog with plenty of human company.
Secure fencing, indoor privileges and inclusion in family life are important.
✂️ DEFERRED DESEXING
Rue will be adopted under ARK's Deferred Desexing Program and must be desexed by 24 May 2027.
The cost of desexing is included in her adoption fee, subject to the terms of ARK's Deferred Desexing Puppy Adoption Contract.
🚗 INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS WELCOME
We welcome interstate applications and can assist with transport advice, quotations and arrangements.
❤️ READY FOR HER OWN FAMILY
With her lovely mum Stella, four young playmates, Uncle Finny and Uncle Fergus, Rue has had a wonderful beginning.
Now this confident, affectionate little girl is ready to discover the next chapter of her life with a family of her own.
