🐾 MEET LEXI
Meet lovely little Lexi, a gorgeous eight-month-old Dachshund × Jack Russell Terrier with plenty of personality, boundless enthusiasm and a very affectionate nature.
Her foster mum describes her as a high-energy little girl who loves her crazy zoomies but is equally happy curled up on your lap for hours!
And her appearance? According to her foster mum, she looks like "a mini German Shepherd with Corgi legs!"
❤️ PLAYFUL, SOCIABLE & AFFECTIONATE
Lexi is a lively, fun-loving youngster who enjoys being close to her people.
She's had positive interactions with both large and small dogs, is comfortable around cats and poultry, and has been exposed to children aged eight and over.
Lexi is house-trained and walks nicely on the lead, although she can sometimes bark when encountering unfamiliar people or animals. She's still young, and continued positive training and socialisation will help her become more confident in these situations.
🏡 LEXI'S IDEAL HOME
Lexi would love a home where she's very much part of the family. Being a little companion dog, she wants to hang out with you and is not keen on being left at home alone. She loves riding in the car!
Her wish list includes:
✔️ Plenty of companionship and affection
✔️ Indoor privileges and a comfortable lap to curl up on
✔️ Someone who enjoys an energetic little dog with a playful streak
✔️ Daily exercise, games and mental stimulation
✔️ Continued positive training and socialisation
✔️ Secure fencing and a safe environment
And there's one more thing Lexi would particularly appreciate — a place on your bed at night! It's her favourite sleeping spot, and she'd be delighted to find a family happy to share.
With her Dachshund and Jack Russell heritage, Lexi may be small, but she's certainly no couch potato. She'll thrive with people who enjoy her lively personality while also appreciating her affectionate, cuddly side.
