About Rory
IF THERE’S WATER, RORY’S IN IT!
It’s hard to believe this is the same little boy who came into our care so terribly sick, covered in ticks and needing two blood transfusions to survive. (we have included a photo of him when he first came into our care).
Rory is doing wonderfully and is more than ready for a family of his own. He really is a loving, affectionate boy who absolutely adores people. He’s clever too! He knows sit, shake, high five, leave and go to bed, walks nicely on the lead and is crate trained.
And then there’s his obsession with water! 💦
Rory absolutely LOVES water. It doesn’t matter if it’s a clam shell, a puddle or his own drinking bowl - if there’s water in it, he’s getting in it! Keeping his water bowl full is a challenge because apparently it doubles as his personal swimming pool!
Rory has already had his fair share of challenges in his short life. Now it’s time for him to simply enjoy being someone’s much-loved dog. ❤️ His foster carer has done an amazing job getting him to where he is today, and we’d really love to see all that hard work rewarded with a beautiful forever home.
Medical notes
Has had tick-borne disease and has been treated. Has also received two blood transfusions. If any further transfusions are needed, the donor blood will need to be blood-matched beforehand.
