# 🐾 Meet Echo! 💙
**Little legs, a big heart and enough personality to keep you smiling! ❤️**
If you're looking for a cheeky, fun-loving little companion who will bring plenty of laughter, love and entertainment into your life, then meet Echo!
Echo is an adorable 8-month-old Dachshund x Kelpie with gorgeous black and tan markings, floppy ears and a personality that's bigger than his little legs!
This happy young boy is absolutely full of beans! He's playful, affectionate, energetic and always keen to be involved in whatever is happening around him.
Echo is still very much a youngster, with plenty to learn and a whole world to explore, but that's all part of his charm. 💕
🌟 **A little about Echo**
🐾 **He's cheeky and full of personality!** Echo is a lively, enthusiastic little fellow who loves attention, playtime and getting involved in the action.
🐾 **He's great with canine company!** Echo is currently living with two large male dogs in his foster home and is doing really well. Despite his smaller size, he's quite comfortable sharing his world with his much bigger canine housemates!
🐾 **He's good with children!** Echo has shown that he enjoys being around children and would be best suited to a family with children aged eight years and older who understand how to interact respectfully with dogs.
🐾 **He's had positive interactions with cats!** Echo has interacted with cats while in care, and no issues have been observed. As with any new introduction, a gradual and supervised introduction to resident cats is recommended.
🐾 **Playtime is a favourite!** Whether it's toys, exploring or having fun with his canine companions, Echo loves opportunities to burn off some of that youthful energy.
🐾 **He enjoys being part of the family!** Echo loves attention and interaction and would thrive in a home where he's included in everyday activities.
🐾 **He's still learning!** Being such a young dog, Echo will need ongoing training, patience and consistent guidance to help him grow into a well-mannered adult companion.
🏡 **Echo's ideal forever home**
Echo is looking for an active, loving family who will embrace his cheeky personality and give him the time, attention and training he needs.
He would love a home where he can enjoy regular exercise, playtime, mental stimulation and plenty of opportunities to explore.
Having lived successfully with two large male dogs, Echo may enjoy having a compatible canine companion in his forever home, subject to a successful meet and greet.
With his positive interactions with cats so far, Echo could also be considered for a home with feline companions, provided introductions are managed carefully and everyone is given time to adjust.
A family with children aged eight years and older would be most suitable, particularly those who understand that young dogs can be excitable and are still learning their manners.
**Echo isn't looking for a family who expects a perfectly trained dog from day one.** He's looking for people who are willing to put in the time, establish routines, teach him good manners and help him reach his full potential.
With patience, positive reinforcement and consistency, this clever little character has every opportunity to become a wonderful family companion.
💕 **Little dog, big adventures!**
Echo has that wonderful mix of cheekiness, affection and enthusiasm that makes young dogs so much fun.
He's the sort of little fellow who will keep you entertained with his antics, bring a smile to your face and make sure life is never boring!
But behind all that energy and mischief is a sweet young boy who simply wants to be loved, included and given the opportunity to grow.
**Echo has the little legs, the big heart and the cheeky personality. Now all he needs is a family ready to share life's adventures with him! 🐾❤️**
Could Echo be your new best friend?

4️⃣ Adoption finalised once the right match is confirmed
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
