🐾 MEET OAKLEIGH
Beautiful little Oakleigh is one of the smallest puppies in our Wildlings Litter, weighing just 3.1 kg at six weeks.
Her foster mum describes her as "sweet, gentle and laid back" — a lovely little personality in a very appealing, soft fawn package!
Oakleigh's mum is our darling Stella, an exceptionally sweet, gentle and affectionate Kelpie who came into ARK care from the pound in the early stages of pregnancy.
Stella has a truly beautiful temperament, and we're delighted to see those lovely qualities emerging in her puppies.
We don't know who Dad is, although our vet believes he's most likely a Border Collie. We expect Oakleigh to grow into an intelligent, active and affectionate companion.
❤️ A WONDERFULLY SOCIALISED PUPPY
Oakleigh has had the most wonderful start in life.
She's been raised in a loving foster home with four children, where she's enjoyed plenty of cuddles, gentle handling, playtime and all the activity of family life.
She's also grown up with the family's resident dog, Uncle Finny, and their cat, Uncle Fergus!
This early exposure to children, dogs, cats and everyday household activities has given Oakleigh an excellent foundation for becoming a confident, well-adjusted family companion.
🏡 OAKLEIGH'S IDEAL HOME
Although Oakleigh is currently a gentle, laid-back little girl, she's still a working-breed mix and will need an active, loving home that understands the importance of exercise, training and mental stimulation.
She'll need secure fencing, plenty of companionship and opportunities to learn and explore as she grows.
Another friendly dog would be a bonus, although not essential.
Most importantly, we want Oakleigh to be a cherished member of the family, with indoor privileges, plenty of affection and lots of human company.
✂️ DEFERRED DESEXING
Oakleigh will be adopted under ARK's Deferred Desexing Program, must not be permitted to breed and must be desexed by 24 May 2027.
The cost of desexing is covered by the adoption fee, subject to the terms and conditions of ARK's Deferred Desexing Puppy Adoption Contract.
🚗 INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS WELCOME
We welcome interstate applications and can assist with transport advice, obtaining quotations and making arrangements.
💗 A GENTLE LITTLE SOUL LOOKING FOR LOVE
With her beautiful mum Stella, four devoted young puppy-handlers, Uncle Finny and Uncle Fergus, Oakleigh has had a wonderful start in life.
Her sweet, gentle and easygoing nature makes her a particularly endearing little puppy, and now she's ready to bring some of that sweetness into a home of her very own!
