Meet Axyl! 💙 This handsome 3.5-year-old brindle patch boy is a mellow, easy going fellow who takes life in his stride. He has a lovely, relaxed manner around the home and is happy to go with the flow. His favourite thing might just be welcoming you home with an excited greeting, no matter how long you've been away!

Axyl is settling beautifully into pet life. He's comfortable spending a full workday at home with his greyhound foster sibling, toilets reliably on lead, sleeps through the night and is happy with his food. He's also a great travel companion, enjoying a sniff out the car window before settling down for the journey. Stairs are no problem for this clever boy, either.

And can we talk about those brindle wings and his handsome little mask? 🦸‍♂️ Axyl looks like he might just be a greyhound superhero in disguise! His superpowers include expert lounging, speedy bursts of playfulness and delivering the happiest welcome-home greetings. His secret mission? To find his forever family and steal their hearts!

Axyl would suit either a house or an apartment, given a little time to adjust to his new surroundings. He's been comfortable with suburban sounds so far, so with a gradual introduction to busier environments, he may adapt well to city living, too.

He gets along well with his resident greyhound and seems quite happy to share his space with another dog, responding nicely to their cues when they'd prefer a little room. He has a playful, exuberant side that pops out in short bursts, followed by the classic greyhound talent for relaxing again.

Axyl walks nicely on lead and responds very well to his handler, making outings a pleasure. He's generally a quiet fellow, although he might offer the occasional little alert woof or a sooky whine when he's trying to tell you something. He hasn't been tested with young children or cats yet, and his interest in cats means any introduction would need careful consideration. His early interactions with other dogs have been encouraging.

Above all, Axyl is a lovely, uncomplicated boy with a big heart and a wonderfully mellow nature. He's affectionate without needing to make a fuss, enjoys the company of his people and is ready to bring his happy welcomes, playful moments and laid-back charm to a loving forever home.
