About Sierra
Meet Sierra
Sierra is a beautiful 1.5-year-old tabby Domestic Short Hair with a quiet confidence and a heart that's well worth the wait. When meeting new people, she can be a little aloof and prefers to take her time getting to know you. She's not one to rush into relationships, but once you've earned her trust, you'll discover a wonderfully loyal companion.
In true Sierra fashion, personal space becomes a shared concept once she's decided you're part of her inner circle. Reading a book? That's her spot too. Working at your desk? She'd love to supervise. Relaxing on the couch? Expect a tabby-shaped addition to your plans. Once Sierra warms up to you, your space is officially her space, and she wouldn't have it any other way.
Sierra is vaccinated, up to date with her parasite control, and will be desexed prior to leaving the shelter. She's looking for a patient and understanding home where she can blossom at her own pace and reward her new family with plenty of companionship and affection.
If you're looking for a cat who chooses her people carefully and loves them wholeheartedly, Sierra may be the perfect addition to your family.❤️

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
