🌟🌸 INTRODUCING AYLA 🌸🌟

Hi, I’m Ayla! I’m a quiet and shy girl who has had a tough life so far. I’m ready for someone to take a chance on me so I can finally feel safe and blossom into who I was always meant to be.

Nature
I was the very last cat to be caught from a colony of 78 in the Perth metro region, showing just how clever and tenacious I am! However, it was lucky I was caught when I was, as I was only days away from giving birth.

I ended up having nine kittens in foster care (which is a massive litter!), and I was an amazing mum who provided for all of them and made sure they grew up big and strong.

I’ve likely spent my whole life, since I was a kitten myself, being pregnant, giving birth and raising babies. Now that I’m off the streets and my final litter has all found homes, it’s finally my turn to be the baby I’ve always had the potential to be.

I’m still quite wary of people and currently spend most of my day alone, where I feel safest. I’m not quite ready for pats yet, but I’ll happily and gently accept a treat from your hand! When it’s quiet, I’ve recently started coming out, chirping hello and playing with some toys by myself.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I live with other foster cats and get along with them well, although I prefer my own company.

I haven’t been tested with dogs or children, but I’d do better in a home with older children and other animals who respect my boundaries and my need for independence.

My PURR-fect home would be with people who understand what I’ve lived through and respect my need for personal space. I need a patient family who will give me the time and space to feel safe at my own pace. With a little understanding, kindness and patience, I hope to build my confidence and realise my potential.

Medical Notes: Ayla had cat flu, which is a respiratory infection. She was treated for this and given the all clear by the vet. She was also exposed to Ringworm, a common fungal infection, but did not show symptoms or require treatment.
