About Flossie
Meet Flossie, a gorgeous tricolour Border Collie with a whole lot of love to give! Affectionate, charming and wonderfully people-focused, she has all the makings of a clever and devoted companion. Like most Border Collies, she’s highly intelligent, eager to learn and always ready to soak up whatever you’re willing to teach her.
Flossie is house-trained, uses a dog door, knows her sit and drop, and sleeps happily on her own bed overnight. She’s also learning to wait patiently for her food and respond to 'leave it'. Food-motivated and keen to please, she walks nicely on lead and is beginning to discover the fun of a game of tug.
Flossie is great with other dogs and children, and her love of people makes her a joy to work with. She’s very responsive to human connection, which is proving helpful in building her recall. Expect plenty of affectionate snuggles, adorable head tilts and a bright little face watching your every move! She hasn’t yet been tested with cats or chickens.
As an active, intelligent working breed, Flossie will thrive with a family who understands the needs of a Border Collie and can provide her with both physical exercise and mental stimulation. A property with room to run would be ideal, whether that’s acreage or a large, secure backyard. With her eagerness to learn and people-focused nature, she could be a wonderful candidate for dog sports such as Agility, Flyball or Dancing with Dogs.
Flossie would love a home where someone is home most of the time, ideally with a doggie friend or two. If you think you have what it takes to give Flossie the happy life she deserves, apply today!

To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at https://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-process-forms/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
