Have you ever met a land hippo? Well, allow us to introduce you to Gloria! 🦛

Gloria is a gorgeous, chunky girl who believes life is best lived with enthusiasm, a little bounce in her step, and as many human friends as possible. She's a big bundle of love with a playful personality, and she's never met a person she didn't want to say hello to!

Now, we'll be honest. Gloria's current manners are perhaps a little more hippo on a mission than refined lady about town. She's still learning that not every exciting moment requires the full force of her land hippo enthusiasm! With consistent training, positive reinforcement and some help developing her impulse control, Gloria has all the potential to become a wonderfully well-mannered companion.

This chunky monkey will be looking for experienced large-breed owners who understand that big dogs need a little extra guidance (and sometimes a little extra muscle!). Gloria has lived with another dog previously, but for now, she'd prefer to be the one and only pet soaking up all the love and attention.

Due to her size and enthusiastic approach to life, Gloria is searching for an adult-only home where nobody is at risk of being accidentally hippo-tackled during an especially exciting greeting!

In return, you'll get a loyal, affectionate and endlessly entertaining companion who will keep you laughing, fill your days with love and remind you that personal space is very much optional when you're a land hippo.
