Meet Simba,
A handsome little king who's ready to find his very own pride! Unlike his namesake, Simba isn't particularly interested in ruling over the lands. He's more of a hakuna matata kind of guy who believes life's too short to worry about what everyone else is doing! While the other dogs are busy making a fuss, Simba is quite content to kick back, relax and mind his own business. He's a sweet, affectionate boy who loves a good pat and isn't shy about asking for more. He's also got a clever little head on his shoulders, already knowing how to sit and working on mastering his drop - but don't let his calm and collected nature fool you, because beneath that laid-back exterior is a playful, enthusiastic youngster who occasionally forgets he's not a tiny cub anymore!
When it comes to making friends, Simba believes in the philosophy of "I just can't wait to meet you!" He's a social butterfly with a rather enthusiastic approach to introductions, and sometimes his excitement can be a little much for his fellow four-legged friends. He means well, but not everyone appreciates a full-blown royal welcome! The good news is that Simba is happy to take a little guidance when his enthusiasm gets the better of him. He could potentially share his kingdom with another dog who appreciates his playful nature and doesn't mind a bit of puppy-like silliness. Simba could also suit a family with children of any age, provided everyone is comfortable with his playful side. With his affectionate nature, easy going attitude and just the right amount of cheekiness, Simba is ready for his next great adventure. And if you ask him, there's only one thing missing from his circle of life... a family to call his own!

Post Adoption Life:
With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as seamless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories - most are left in the shelter by their owners. The information we have is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks may surface during this time. All that we ask is that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
