Meet Daffodil,
A sweet little flower who's just waiting for the right home to help her bloom! This lovely lady can be a little wallflower when meeting new people, but give her some time to put down her roots and you'll soon discover a whole bouquet of affection! Once settled, she'll blossom into a head-butting, cheek-scratch-loving sweetheart who isn't afraid to roll around on her back and show off her petals. And if you're really lucky, you might even be granted access to the belly for a rub! Daffodil isn't one for fancy toys or expensive cat furniture. She's more of a stop-and-smell-the-roses kind of girl who believes a cosy blanket, a peaceful spot to snooze and a good helping of wet food are life's greatest pleasures. Throw in a few tasty treats and she's one happy little flower!
Like any delicate bloom, Daffodil just needs the right environment to flourish. She'd be quite happy putting down roots with first-time cat owners or a family with children who understand that even the prettiest flowers need a little breathing room. She's shown some lovely curiosity towards a kitten she's met and may even be happy sharing her garden with a calm, respectful dog, provided she has somewhere quiet to retreat when the world gets a little too loud. She's also a tidy little lady who appreciates a spacious litter tray, although she may seek comfort in it while she's finding her feet in a new home. Daffodil isn't asking for the whole garden, just a little patience, kindness and somewhere she can feel safe enough to blossom. Give her that, and we think you'll find she's an absolute blooming delight!

Post Adoption Life:
With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as seamless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories - most are left in the shelter by their owners. The information we have is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks may surface during this time. All that we ask is that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
