Meet Jovie,
A confident, sassy little cat who has never once considered the possibility that someone might not adore her. In fact, as far as Jovie is concerned, your affection isn't optional. It's a requirement, and she's more than happy to remind you of your obligations! Whether she's making biscuits in her bed while staring you down, smooching your hands or weaving herself around your legs, Jovie has a very important message to deliver: you WILL love her, and that's final. She's a self-appointed queen of cuddles who loves a good pat, a squish and being the centre of attention. But even royalty has its limits, and when she's had enough affection, she may deliver a little playful nibble to let you know your services are no longer required. She's also discovering the wonderful world of toys and has decided that anything moving at high speed is worth investigating. As for food? Jovie is an equal-opportunity enthusiast, she's not here to discriminate!
Jovie is looking for a home where she can reign supreme as the one and only four-legged ruler of the household. Jovie has made her position on sharing her kingdom very clear, and frankly, she's not taking questions at this time. She'd be best suited to someone with cat experience, or at least a good understanding of feline behaviour, who can appreciate her occasional playful nibbles and larger-than-life personality. Older children would also be a better match for this fabulous little diva. She's a tidy lady too, although her enthusiasm for litter tray housekeeping means a high-sided tray is a must. Jovie might have a few terms and conditions, but beneath all that sass is a wonderfully affectionate girl with a whole lot of love to give. She's not looking for someone to put her in her place. She's looking for someone who knows that her place is wherever she decides it is!

All adoptions must go through our official Council website - please head over to www.campbelltown.nsw.gov.au, click ‘Adopt an Animal’ to browse our available animals.
Alternatively, you can search for a specific animal by typing their name or their impound number in the search bar.

Post Adoption Life:
With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as seamless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories - most are left in the shelter by their owners. The information we have is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks may surface during this time. All that we ask is that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
