About Rex
Meet handsome Kelpie pup Rex! With his sleek, shiny coat, big ears and affectionate nature, he’s a bright little character who loves being close to his people and is always ready for his next adventure.
He’s a clever boy who is already learning his basic manners. He can sit, wait for his dinner and come when called by name. He enjoys puzzle toys, is doing well with toilet training, is crate trained, and sleeps through the night.
Like any young Kelpie, he has plenty of energy, curiosity and puppy enthusiasm! He loves to play and can be a little excitable and jumpy at times. He’ll thrive with a family who can continue his training, provide plenty of mental stimulation and help him learn when it’s time to settle.
He’s looking for a home with a secure yard and people who understand the needs of a growing working-breed dog, or are keen to learn. A friendly, well-matched doggy companion could be a lovely bonus. He may be a little too bouncy for very young children, so older, dog-savvy children may be a better fit. He’s also shown curiosity towards cats, although his compatibility with them is not yet known.
If you’re looking for an affectionate, clever pup and are ready for all the fun, learning and occasional chaos that comes with raising a young Kelpie, this little fellow could be the perfect fit for your family. Send us an application outlining the life you can offer him!

Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at https://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-process-forms/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
