Meet Xander — The Food-Loving, Friend-Loving Charmer
Xander is a young male domestic short hair with a heart as big as his appetite. This sleek black boy is affectionate, playful, and always ready to make life a little brighter.
Personality
Sweet-natured and loving once he feels safe
Playful, curious, and full of youthful energy
Social with other cats and happy to make new friends
Prioritises life’s joys in a very specific order: food first, friends second
Xander has that perfect mix of gentle affection and cheeky fun — the kind of cat who will nuzzle your hand one moment and chase a toy the next.
Home & Compatibility
Gets along beautifully with other cats
Would likely do well with calm, respectful dogs
Gentle enough for older children who understand cat boundaries
Why You’ll Love Him
Xander is the whole package: handsome, friendly, and full of personality. Once he trusts you, he becomes wonderfully affectionate — a loyal companion who will greet you with bright eyes and a hopeful glance toward the food bowl.
He’s ready to find his forever home and become someone’s beloved boy.

Adoption Process
Once you have decided you would like to meet or apply for one of our pets, we email out our Adoption Application. We ask that the Adoption Process be read and if comfortable with how we adopt, complete the application and email it back for processing. This takes approximately 5-7 days. If approved the pet will come for a 6 week trial for cats and 3 week trial for dogs . We believe it takes that long for a pet to settle. If all goes well during the trial and you wish to finalise the adoption we email all vet certificates and change of microchip forms. We believe in matching the right pet with the right home so your application does not guarantee an approval.
