GRACIE - Beauty & Grace 👸🏼

Gracie came to Forever Friends Animal Rescue from a local cat colony as a scared and skittish little kitten, but over the past month she has developed quite the taste for domestic life. She has blossomed into a sweet little princess who, quite frankly, believes she is worthy of nothing less than royal treatment.

Gracie is a quiet and peaceful young lady who loves nothing more than basking in a warm patch of sunshine, watching the world go by from her favourite windowsill or surveying her kingdom from her castle high up on the wall. She does enjoy a good play session, but unlike her energetic foster brother Otis, Gracie prefers to keep her four paws firmly on the ground. You’ll often find her sprawled out on her belly, batting away at her favourite toys — or engaging in a very serious wrestling match with Otis.

While Gracie is still a little cautious when it comes to humans, she is becoming more confident every day. She is yet to discover the bliss of a good chin scratch, but she is beginning to understand that humans can be a wonderful source of treats, toys and good things. She will happily take a tasty treat from you and is increasingly willing to engage in play, which is a lovely sign of the trust she is building.

Gracie also gets a great deal of confidence from her boisterous foster brother, Otis. Where he fearlessly charges into life, she is happy to watch, learn and follow his lead. Because of this, Gracie would benefit greatly from a home with a confident, friendly kitty who can show her the ropes and help her feel safe in her new surroundings. Of course, her dream outcome would be to find a forever home alongside her dark and handsome brother, Otis. ❤️

Gracie will need a patient and gentle family who understands that she is still learning about life with humans. She may not be the kind of girl who immediately runs up to greet you, but with time, kindness and a little encouragement, we believe her confidence will continue to blossom.

Underneath that cautious exterior is an incredibly sweet and gentle girl. Gracie has already come such a long way, and we know that in the right home, this beautiful little princess will continue to grow into a calm, loving and deeply rewarding companion.

She may still be waiting to discover the joy of a chin scratch, but we have a feeling that once Gracie finally gives in to the royal treatment, there will be no going back. 👑💕
