About Kipp
Kip is an active, affectionate young dog who is ready to find a loving home of his own! He loves spending time with people, enjoys his treats, and is a quick learner who is eager to please.
Like any young dog, Kip is still learning the ropes and will benefit from a home that can provide him with a consistent routine, positive guidance, and plenty of love as he grows into the best version of himself.
While we haven’t yet been able to assess Kip directly with another dog, he has shown no negative reactions to seeing other dogs around the shelter or through the fences. Further introductions would be needed to determine how he might get along with a canine companion.
With his attentive nature, willingness to learn, and affectionate personality, Kip has so much potential to blossom into a wonderful companion. If you’re ready to help a young dog learn, grow, and thrive, Kip could be the perfect addition to your family!

Adoption details
The adoption fee for all animals is $79 + all veterinary costs which are determined once your animal is booked in for desexing and will be discussed with you at that time.
We encourage potential adopters to meet specific animals. If you already have a dog and wish to adopt another, we require a 'Meet and Greet' session at the facility to ensure compatibility. Please contact us to make an appointment.
All animals adopted from our facility come:
• Desexed
• Vaccinated
• Microchipped
• Vet-checked
• Lifetime registered in NSW
Please note that desexing (if required) is only performed after adoption, which may result in a delay in taking your new pet home, depending on vet availability. Staff will contact you once an appointment is booked, we kindly ask that you personally collect your new pet from the vet clinic to ensure they can begin their recovery comfortably in their new home.
For enquiries or to meet or adopt, please visit our website https://newcastle.nsw.gov.au/living/pets-and-animals/lost-and-found/lost-pets-in-ranger-care/animal-rescue-enquiry. Please provide the impound number listed next to the animal's name when enquiring.
For foster enquiries we will refer to one of our rescue partners where processes and approvals are at their discretion, please enquire to discuss further.
We do not offer trial periods for adoptions. Unless surrendered and the history is known, dogs in our care have not been tested with cats, so adopters should consider this carefully if there are cats in the household.
