Meet Ottilie and Rosetta – a sweet sister duo looking for a forever home together
When Ottie and Rosie first came into care, they were unsocialised and terrified of people, refusing to move in their presence. But these two have worked hard and over time have gradually learnt what it means to be safe and loved!
Ottie is certainly the cuddle bug out of the pair, with chin scratches being her favourite. While she can be jumpy during the day and keeps her distance, she loves to cuddle in bed and will happily make biscuits by your side at night.
Rosie remains the shyer of the two, and is still hesitant around most people. She will tolerate pats while being fed, and has recently started enjoying gentle head scratches from trusted humans. She is always curious about what's going on in the house, and will happily follow you from room to room and settle in to observe what you are up to.
During playtime, these girls absolutely shine! They love carrying their stuffed toys around the house while proudly announcing what they've 'caught.' Playing together usually leads to some serious zoomies, and it’s a joy to see the girls bouncing around the house.
Most importantly, Ottie and Rosie get a great deal of comfort and confidence from each other. They have not had the easiest start to life, and having each other to lean on has certainly helped them while settling into care and learning to trust humans.
These girls are looking for a patient and calm home together where they can continue to develop their confidence around humans, at their own pace. They may not be the most affectionate cats from the get go but watching them relax around humans and eventually seek out their presence is so rewarding and incredibly special to experience.
