About Bear
Meet Bear đ€
If you're looking for a cat who will become your constant companion, Bear is ready to take the job. This handsome 11-month-old black DMH is the definition of a faithful shadow, happily following his people from room to room to make sure he never misses a moment of the action.
Bear may stick close by, but don't mistake him for a quiet observer. This chatty young man always has something to say! Expect an enthusiastic welcome when you walk through the door, complete with a full update on his day and plenty of questions about yours. Whether he's sharing his latest adventures or reminding you that it's time for attention, Bear believes communication is the key to a happy household.
At just 11 months old, Bear has already mastered all the important basics. He is toilet trained, desexed, vaccinated, and up to date with his parasite control, making him ready to settle straight into his new home.
With his affectionate nature, playful personality, and endless conversation topics, Bear is sure to bring laughter, companionship, and plenty of love to the lucky family that adopts him. If you've ever wanted a best friend who always has time for a chat, Bear is waiting to meet youđș

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
