Meet Skip!

At just 1 year old, this Heeler x Staffy mix has found himself without a home and is now looking for the right forever family to love and grow with.

Skip is a sweet little guy who packs a lot of personality into a relatively small package. He's very people-orientated and is happiest when he's by the side of his favourite humans, soaking up all the pats, scratches and affection he can get

True to his breeds, he's incredibly smart and already knows how to sit and shake on cue. He's quite treat-driven which is a good indicator that with some force-free training, he will be showing off a whole repertoire of tricks in no time.

Skip would like to go to a home where everyone is secondary-school aged and above, because he is still learning his manners and can be quite jumpy at times. He also may like to live with another doggy friend, dependant on a successful meet and greet at the shelter to assess their compatibility. Skip did very well on his dog test at the shelter, and even if he goes home as the only dog he would benefit from having gradual, positive introductions to other dogs to build his confidence.

This handsome young gentleman would suit a variety of homes and lifestyles, and has so much love to give to whoever takes a chance on him. Whether you're looking for a loyal companion to join you on life's adventures or a devoted little shadow to keep you company at home, Skip could be your guy.
