Meet Princy, a soft and gentle fluffy tabby sweetheart who is seeking a quiet, loving home and just just waiting to steal the right person’s heart.

Princy started life as one of three kittens born to a stray in his current family’s yard. They took the little ones in to keep them safe, and while two of his siblings have already found new homes, Princy stayed. He has been desexed, microchipped, registered and kept up to date with vaccinations.

His family love him dearly, but with a young daughter and a second baby on the way they can no longer give him the time and affection he needs and deserves. We’re helping advertise him on their behalf in the hope he can move straight from his current home into a forever one.

Princy is a sweet and gentle soul. He can be a little shy and reserved when first meeting new people, so he will need a short adjustment period and some patience. Once he feels cozy and safe, though, his true personality shines through. He becomes the ultimate fluffy companion, trotting up to say hello, gently asking for playtime, and rolling over to offer his soft belly in the clearest invitation for rubs.

Human companionship means the world to him, and he thrives on quiet affection and quality time.

He is a contented indoor boy who prefers soft couches and warm laps to outdoor adventures. He is a light eater with a particular fondness for Felix meat selections and his daily dry food. Want to become his favourite person instantly? Soft belly rubs, returned affection, and his absolute favourite toy, the little laser pointer, will have him lighting up with joy.

Princy is good with his family’s 11-month-old daughter, but a quieter household without constant high energy or lots of unfamiliar visitors will help him settle best. He simply needs a calm home and people who have the time to let him blossom into the affectionate, loving boy he is.

About Us

Urban Feline Australia is a small, independent cat rescue dedicated to saving surrendered cats from kill shelters and finding them loving, permanent homes.

Founded and run by a passionate animal lover with the support of dedicated friends and volunteers, we specialise in caring for cats that have previously lived in family homes but, for various reasons, can no longer stay with their owners.

Since our inception, we have been fortunate to build a small but dedicated network of volunteer foster carers. These compassionate individuals welcome the surrendered cats into their homes, providing them with love, care, and a safe environment while we search for their perfect forever families.

As a tiny, grassroots rescue with no government funding or large facilities, every rescue is powered by compassion, community support, and a genuine commitment to animal welfare.

All adoption fees and donations go directly toward the essential needs of the cats in our care — including premium food, veterinary treatment, litter, equipment, and ongoing medical support. We rely heavily on the generosity of our foster carers, volunteers, and supporters to continue our work.

Our long-term vision is to expand so we can help even more cats in need. This includes securing a larger dedicated property and, one day, possibly opening a cat café to raise awareness and funds while creating a welcoming space for cat lovers.
