About Peanut
Peanut is a little man with a big story. Peanut came all the way from the Northern Territory, living with a pack of ten dogs at a school. He was rescued by some amazing people who flew him all the way to NSW. Upon vet assessment, it was found that he had suffered a broken pelvis. With veterinary care and guidance, he has recovered. Despite all this, he has bounced back and is a normal puppy.
His body may tell a bit of his story but his personality doesn’t. He is so resilient, being a confident, hilarious and loving companion. He has so much character for such a little dude!
Peanut requires moderate physical exercise, with close monitoring to ensure he doesn’t overdo himself. Although his pelvis has healed, we do not feel it is in his best interest to pursue intense exercise (hiking, fetch, flyball, etc). Peanut has the brain of a border collie, he wants to work and please his human. He needs ample mental stimulation to keep him busy. He needs to be given a ‘job’, otherwise he will make his own. He loves using his brain! Therefore, he is very biddable and is a quick learner. He would be a super fun dog to trick train, the possibilities with him are endless!
Peanut is crate trained and toilet trained.
He is a loyal little guy that adores his humans, having the sweetest smile and eyes full of adoration. Once he’s done his zoomies and is content, he will happily lay on the lounge for hours. He adores sitting on laps and being pet!
Peanut is amazing with everyone, dogs and children included. We feel he would best thrive in a home with another dog. He will be the perfect addition to any family with training experience, time and love to give.
Peanut has a luxated tail which hasn’t caused him any issues, however it will be amputated prior to adoption to prevent future problems.
Medical notes
Suffered a broken pelvis as a young pup, has a luxating tail that will be amputated prior to adoption.

Adoption details
If you would like to express interest in adopting, please tell us a little about yourself, your family and home, and what you can offer one of our babies.
An Adoption Questionnaire will automatically be emailed to you after you enquire and must be completed as part of our adoption process. This helps us get to know you and the home you can offer. If renting, proof of approval for an animal at the property will need to be sighted, or a rates notice if you own your home.
Our aim is to find the best possible match for each of our animals, not simply first in, best dressed. Suitable applications will be passed on to the foster carer, and if we feel you may be the right match, you will be contacted by phone.
