Meet OJ, a 5-year-old Golden Retriever with a big heart, a goofy personality and plenty of love to give! This affectionate boy thrives on human companionship and would happily enjoy cuddles on the lounge with his favourite people. He’s a playful fellow who loves his toys, food and spending quality time with his family.

OJ is a clever, food-motivated boy who enjoys learning, although sometimes his excitement for treats gets the better of him! He’ll benefit from an experienced owner who can help channel his enthusiasm into positive training, regular exercise and fun enrichment activities. He’s also a serious chewer, so durable toys and long-lasting chews will be essential to keep his busy mouth occupied.

When it comes to other dogs, OJ is best suited to a home where he can be the only dog. He can be selective with his canine friends, and his enthusiastic play style and tendency to guard his favourite things mean he’ll thrive in an environment where he doesn’t have to share his space, toys or favourite people. Being the only dog will allow OJ to enjoy all the love, attention and companionship he deserves while helping him feel comfortable and settled in his new home.

OJ is looking for a home with older children, secure fencing and a family who can offer him plenty of affection, activity and guidance. He enjoys both indoor and outdoor living, but most of all, he wants to be part of the family.
