About Piper
🐾 Meet Piper – Our Beautiful 4.5-Year-Old Mini Cavoodle Girl! 🐾
Piper weighs just under 10kg and is a loving, gentle girl with a heart full of affection. ❤️
This happy soul is at her happiest when she has other canine friends around. She loves playing, running around the backyard, doing her adorable zoomies and rolling on her back in the grass. Watching her enjoy these simple pleasures is such a joy!
Piper is gentle, calm, well-behaved and not a barker. After a fun-filled time playing with her furry friends, her favourite place is a soft, fluffy bed where she can curl up for a well-deserved nap. 🥰
🐶 A Home With a Canine Companion
Piper would be best suited to a home with another gentle, similar-sized dog to keep her company and play with, especially when her humans are away. Having a furry friend around makes her feel happier and more secure.
💗 A Little Shy, With So Much Love to Give
Piper may be shy during her first week in a new environment, particularly around unfamiliar faces. She will need a little time, patience and understanding to feel safe and comfortable.
But once she starts trusting you, you will see her beautiful personality shine through. She will gradually come around, gently place her paw on you to ask for attention, and enjoy being petted, cuddled and loved.
Although Piper can be cautious at first, she genuinely enjoys human company and affection. She simply needs time to learn that she is finally safe and that she can trust the people around her. ❤️
Piper loves her food, although she prefers to take her time eating and can still feel a little shy eating in front of people. As she becomes more settled and confident, we expect this to improve.
She is currently on Royal Canin mixed with Ziwi Peak kibbles with a bowl available throughout the day, chicken necks for lunch and a healthy home-cooked meal for dinner.
✂️ Grooming Requirements
Piper arrived in our care with badly matted fur, so she had to be shaved very short. Her coat is now slowly growing back, and once it gets longer, she will need regular brushing at home and professional grooming every 4–5 weeks to keep her coat healthy and free of mats.
🏡 A Life She Has Never Known Before
Piper was never given the chance to experience life as a beloved family pet. Instead, she spent her life producing puppies before coming into our care.
She is now learning what it means to be a pet — to enjoy the comforts of a loving home, to play freely in the backyard, to snuggle into a fluffy bed and, most importantly, to be loved simply for who she is.
Piper may need a little time to adjust to her new life, but beneath that initial shyness is a beautiful girl with so much love and affection to give.
Once she feels safe and completely settled, we believe she will blossom into a devoted and loving companion who will bring so much happiness to her family. ❤️
