💙 Meet Smoky, a little sweetheart finding their brave!

Smoky is learning to trust and discovering just how lovely life can be. With gentle reassurance and time to feel safe, this little sweetheart is beginning to realise that cuddles can be rather wonderful.

Playtime brings out Smoky’s adventurous side, especially with sibling Smudge nearby! Together, they enjoy zoomies, chasing games and enthusiastic rough-and-tumble sessions before settling on the bed for a well-earned snooze, preferably tucked under the blankets.

The window seat is another favourite, offering a cosy lookout to watch the world go by. Smudge’s more confident approach gives Smoky reassurance and encouragement to try new things at their own pace.

Smoky is currently in foster care with a loving family. This helps us get to know their personality and needs so we can help you explore whether Smoky would suit your home.

SAFE does not have a shelter you can visit, but meeting Smoky is easy. Submit an adoption application and we can arrange a meet and greet. 💙

4 THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE APPLYING:

1. Are you able to commit to providing a safe, clean, and comfortable home for the cat?

2. Do you have the financial resources to provide for the cat's basic needs such as food, litter, toys, and veterinary care?

3. Are you able to commit to spending time to socialize and train the cat?

4. Are you prepared to keep the cat indoors at all times? An INSIDE cat is a SAFE cat 

NOTES:
Adoption fee includes vet check, first vaccination*, flea and worm treatment, microchipping and sterilisation at a SAFE approved vet at 6 months of age.

*Kittens may require further vaccination(s) to complete the full vaccination course. This will be at the cost of the new owner and is not included in the adoption fee.
