Bunny is the big sister in all but age, with a relaxed temperament and a love of sitting high in her cat tree, watching the world go by. She loves a brush and a pat, and is quick to start purring when she’s in her happy place. She loves having a quiet place to relax in, which she balances with spending quiet time with the family, sitting beside you while you work or on the sofa while you watch TV or read. Bunny also has a Grade 4 heart murmur, which is well managed with simple medication given twice daily and easily mixed into her food. ❤️

Pippy is a smaller lady. Energetic and polite, and will sit in front of her stick and politely chirp to ask you to play. You'll quickly notice that Pippy is a born acrobat- once a string is being bounced around, Pippy can leap, hop and spin like an Olympic gymnast, surprising given how calm and demure she is normally. Bunny will often join in once she realises how much fun her sister is having, and wants to be a part of the action. Pippy loves to curl up in a lap when someone’s on the sofa, or sit alongside the family while they watch a movie or talk.
Both girls love pats, and spend their days rotating between sunny and warm spots in the home. Their hobbies include watching birds and moths, tapping at each other through a partially-closed door, and the occasional game of chase. Bunny and Pippy are gentle, curious, and calm cats who quickly warm to humans.
A little quirk of the girls is that they’ve both adopted the same funny way of sitting- you can often find both perched on a chair or on the floor with their front legs apart and feet folded under, like a pair of little roast chickens.
Together, they are a gentle, loving pair who bring out the best in each other and would thrive in a caring foster home where they can continue to feel safe and cherished.
Both girls get along beautifully with other cats and have been around children their entire lives, making them a wonderful fit for a family home. 🐱👧💕

Adoption details
Adopting with Kittie Kat Rescue Inc.
Bringing a new pet into your home is a long-term commitment—both emotionally and financially. Cats can live 15 to 20 years, so it's essential that all family members are prepared to provide love, shelter, and a safe environment for their lifetime. This includes premium nutrition, regular veterinary care, and ensuring they are kept strictly indoors or have access to a secure, cat-proof outdoor enclosure.
Our Adoption Process
Initial Contact & Questionnaire: We’ll start by sending you our adoption questionnaire via email or text message to help us understand your home environment and match you with the right feline companion.
Video Tour: We require a video tour of your home to inspect key safety features, including secure screens on windows, doors, and balconies, and to see where your new kitty will settle in!
Meet & Greet: Once your application is approved, we’ll arrange a time for you to meet the cat with their foster carer.
Adoption & Bringing Your Cat Home: If your application is approved and the cat has completed their vet work, they can go home with you straight after the meet and greet (adoption and admin fees are payable at this time).
Settling-In Period & Communication: Every adoption includes a 14-day settling-in period. We stay in touch during this time (preferably via WhatsApp) to support your cat's transition into your home.
Adoption Fees & Registration
Kittens: $350
Cats (1–3 Years): $275
Cats (3+ Years): $200
All adoptions carry a mandatory lifetime registration/admin fee of $62 on top of the adoption price to ensure your cat is officially registered in accordance with local council requirements.
