About Pippa
Meet Pippa, a tiny just over 3kg 9 year old mini foxie.
Hi, I am Pippa's foster carer and I am writing her listing from my heart in the hopes of finding the best forever home for this cheeky, cute but shy little girl.
Pippa came into care, never having lived the life of a normal family dog. She was petrified and shook for a few days at her new surroundings and took a while to be comfortable in my presence.
Once I gained her trust, she slowly learnt the joy of belly rubs and jumping up for cuddles.
She still is a nervous girl, any sudden movement of the hand and she will duck and run, and sudden noises, even opening a can of drink near her and she will run down the hall. But for all these little things that will take time for her to overcome, the joy she brings outweigh these.
I would love to have her here as her forever home, however, it's clear what she would love. I have two other small dogs. Whilst she coexists with them, she shows little interest and would dearly love to be an only dog where she is the centre of attention.
She would love a home with slow foot traffic, ie not many visitors and would do best with a single person. If I have visitors, she will retreat to the bedroom.
She must have access to outside as she loves to have a sniff and wander in the yard at her leisure.
She loves to sleep in a cave style bed, where she can hide inside, so she would appreciate her forever home investing in this type of bed.
This little girl just wants to be the centre of someone's universe. She won't sit with you all day, that's not her thing, she likes her space. It's on her terms, so her forever home needs to be ok that this is how she may always be.
