About Scampers
Meet Scabbers! This big softie is a friendly, social sweetheart who loves being around people. Affectionate and curious, he's the kind of cat who will happily greet you at the door, follow you around the house, and settle in nearby once playtime is over. He enjoys attention and being part of the action, making him a wonderful companion for a family looking for a loving, people-oriented cat.
Scabbers may suit a home with cat-savvy olderchildren who can respect his space and understand feline body language. His friendly nature means he enjoys company, but like all cats, he'll appreciate having quiet places to relax when he needs a break.
To keep him happy and entertained while his humans are away, Scabbers will need plenty of enrichment throughout the day. Puzzle feeders, interactive toys, scratchers, and play sessions will help keep both his mind and body active. With the right balance of attention, play, and relaxation, Scabbers is sure to become a much-loved member of the family.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
