About Layla
Meet Layla,
Layla is a beautiful senior girl searching for a quiet, loving home where she can enjoy the simple pleasures in life. Gentle, sweet, and quietly affectionate, she may be a little shy when first meeting new people, but with patience and kindness she'll soon begin to show her true nature.
Layla is looking for a calm household where she can settle in at her own pace and feel safe and secure. An adult home would suit her best, although she may also be happy sharing her space with gentle, respectful teens. Once comfortable, Layla enjoys the companionship of her people and will make a wonderful friend for someone who appreciates a cat with a gentle soul.
As a mature cat, Layla is well past the kitten chaos and would much rather spend her days relaxing in a cosy spot, watching the world go by, and enjoying a peaceful routine. She may also be happy sharing her home with another calm, cat-friendly feline following a slow and thoughtful introduction.
Layla is ready to spend her golden years surrounded by love, comfort, and understanding. If you're looking for a kind-hearted companion who will reward your patience with quiet affection and loyal companionship, Layla could be the perfect addition to your family.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
