Tia’s story began with a rather scary experience when she was found hiding underneath a car in a car yard, feeling frightened and unsure of the world around her. Now, this beautiful girl is looking for a patient, loving home where she can continue to build her confidence and discover just how wonderful life can be.
Once Tia feels safe, her sweet and affectionate nature shines through. Her absolute favourite thing in the world? Hugs and cuddles! ❤️ She loves spending time with her people and would be happiest in a home where someone is around more often than not, so she doesn’t have to spend long periods feeling lonely.
Don’t let her love for cuddles fool you, though! Tia also has a playful side and enjoys getting out for her daily walks. She’s a curious girl who loves learning about the world around her, so a nice, spacious backyard with secure, high fencing would be perfect. She’s not a fence jumper, but she does enjoy keeping an eye on what’s happening beyond her own little world!

A calm, patient household where she can build confidence at her own pace.
An adult-only home, with no children, while she continues to feel more secure.
No cats or pocket pets.
Ideally, a home with no other pets. However, she may be suitable with a calm, desexed male dog following careful introductions.
People who are home more often than not to give her the companionship and reassurance she needs.
A spacious backyard with secure, high fencing.
A family who enjoys daily walks, playtime, plenty of affection and, of course, lots of cuddles!
Tia may need a little extra understanding as she settles into her new life, but for the right person, helping her grow into a confident and happy girl will be an incredibly rewarding journey.

Adoption details
Call Queanbeyan Council on 1300 735 025 to be transferred through to an Animal care Officer that works at the facility. The animal care officer will take your details, send you an application form and if suitable make contact to book in a meet and greet at the facility with the desired pet.
Adoption fee cost:
When you purchase the animal they will either be desexed or the cost of desexing will be included in the fee. You will receive a voucher to take to a local vet to have the animal operated on. All animals adopted from our animal management facility receive free lifetime registration in NSW.
